This is the first ever 3 Things Thursday, an email I’ll be sharing every Thursday with…you guessed it…three things that might be of interest or benefit to you.

1. A Podcast Episode

I started listening to Harvard Business Review’s Ideacast, and I am surprised at how much I absolutely love this show. It’s not your normal podcast. The episode “Leading with Less Ego” is a great listen for anybody who is leading a company or an audience. Takeaway: “If being a leader is all about me, I probably shouldn’t be a leader.”

You can listen here.

2. A Resource

I’m all about wellness. I think prioritising wellness is key to making strides in your business, and part of that means eating right. The doc who created the eating style I follow has some awesome super healthy recipes on his website. His collection of slow cooker recipes is fabulous for those of us who work from home. Throw a recipe together in the morning before you sit down to work, and by the time your work day is done, so is dinner.

Browse the slow cooker recipes here.

3. A Quote

“You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, but there will always be someone who hates peaches.” – Dita von Teese

If you’re struggling to be yourself because you’re afraid you’ll alienate people… you will! And it’s OK. You will never be able to please everyone.
